I have a terribly disorganized mind, so I was always bound toĢ. But, with a full time job, it was tough to get out as often as I wanted - every trip meant packing, and then setting up, and then un-setting up, and then clean, and then unpack. I’ve been an avid tent camper for the past 5 years or so. After an exhausting week, that’s where I found the energy to keep going. I started spending more time with myself. It wasn’t long before I needed to escape too. Somewhere along the way, we just became different people (and, importantly, not the people we wanted to be). This relationship was, for both of us, the bridge from childhood (college) to adulthood (work and real obligations). My partner and I decided to break up after two years.
